Default inventory allows you to load room inventory for many years in advance. The max number of rooms loaded as default can not be greater than the max number of rooms loaded in the room type setup.
1. Navigate to Avail. and Rates > Avail and Booking Rules > Default Room Inventory.
2. Choose the room type that you would like to add default inventory to, then click Show.
3. On the next screen, you can modify existing inventory by clicking the pen and paper icon, delete existing inventory by clicking the red x, or add a new inventory period by clicking Add a new room inventory period.
4. Modifying existing inventory or adding new inventory will bring you to the following screen; choose the date range you would like to apply the inventory to and insert the number of rooms you would like available for each day of the week. Once you're satisfied with your changes, click Add.
